Our Story

## From Commercial Foreman to Family Business

Marisol Reyes spent ten years as a commercial painting foreman, running crews on offices, retail spaces and restaurants around Austin. She saw what made paint last and what made it fail. Most of the time, the difference was prep.

In 2012 she started Bluebonnet Ridge Painting with a simple plan: do the prep properly, put the price in writing and send a crew she'd vouch for. That meant no subcontractors and no surprise change orders.

Today our in-house crews are led by Owen Callahan. We paint interiors, exteriors, cabinets and commercial spaces, repair drywall and stain decks and fences across Austin, Round Rock, Cedar Park, Pflugerville, Georgetown, Leander, Lakeway and Bee Cave.

Every job still gets the same three things Marisol started with: a written scope, a color consultation and a daily cleanup.

Marisol Reyes founded Bluebonnet Ridge Painting in Austin in 2012 after ten years as a commercial painting foreman. She leads color consultations and written scopes for homes and businesses across Austin and the Hill Country suburbs.

Owen Callahan leads Bluebonnet Ridge Painting's in-house crews in Austin. He runs the prep-first process on site, from pressure washing and scraping to caulking and priming, and makes sure every job ends with daily cleanup and a final walkthrough.
